No, if a party cannot sustain itself purely from its members than it has demonstrated it does not have the support of the citizens to continue existing.

They money should go to candidates that cannot fund it themselves and not the ones that can

it should be optional, however if a party receives money from the government it should be made public knowledge, and that sum of money will be given to any party that wants it.

the amount should be equal among parties, capped, and there should be more restrictions and transparency.

Yes, only if they apply for grants and get equal amounts. The other funding can come from their members.

Yes all contributions both corporate and private to all political parties should be banned. Each party that meets party standards should be given the same amount to conduct their campaigns and run their parties. And transparency must be part of the commitment
