Yes, only if necessary. But , I think assistance to new parents and better maternity leave would be more pertinent for it would allow the child to have parents more involved in the development of the child to help with their progression and the stability of the family, overall in the long term strengthening the community

Yes, and daycare workers should have rigorous qualifications, education, training, and background checks.

Yes, but only for low income families and single parents but I also think that each province should decide and take in different factors.

No. The government should not be injecting itself into family matters or in the business of rearing people’s children. Cut taxes and spending so people can afford to raise their own children without state interference.

Daycare should be free for every child. Children should have free access to preschool and day care. It's unfair to have parents pay money to have someone look after their child when they are forced to work to make ends meet.

More funding should be provided for families to be able to have a parent stay home with their own children

I don't have children but it seems important to a lot of families. I think this is just a band aid. We need to strike a balance between earning potential and cost of living so families don't require a lot of unaffordable day care and can spend more time with their loved ones.

Do a tax credit or a payment instead because rural families can’t access the daycares
