Yes, only if necessary. But , I think assistance to new parents and better maternity leave would be more pertinent for it would allow the child to have parents more involved in the development of the child to help with their progression and the stability of the family, overall in the long term strengthening the community

Yes, and daycare workers should have rigorous qualifications, education, training, and background checks.
@9JM6BQQ1yr1Y
Yes, but only for low income families and single parents but I also think that each province should decide and take in different factors.
@9HCP7QV1yr1Y
No. The government should not be injecting itself into family matters or in the business of rearing people’s children. Cut taxes and spending so people can afford to raise their own children without state interference.

Daycare should be free for every child. Children should have free access to preschool and day care. It's unfair to have parents pay money to have someone look after their child when they are forced to work to make ends meet.
@8CVTD6Z5yrs5Y
private businesses can deal with daycare
@8M939K24yrs4Y
More funding should be provided for families to be able to have a parent stay home with their own children
@8VM7YC34yrs4Y
Education is already daycare
@8VJNWNB4yrs4Y
No, daycare should be privatized
@8VHLQFB4yrs4Y
I don't have children but it seems important to a lot of families. I think this is just a band aid. We need to strike a balance between earning potential and cost of living so families don't require a lot of unaffordable day care and can spend more time with their loved ones.
@8VGZD3HConservative4yrs4Y
Encourage parents to stay home with their kids.
@8VDGRKT4yrs4Y
As long if everyone can pay their bills their choice
@8TYWCQ84yrs4Y
No, the workplace should provide daycare services
@8TNJXJK4yrs4Y
If implemented equal for all regardless of income.
All daycares should be either municipally-funded or privately-funded
@8QWBJC64yrs4Y
All social government programs need an overhaul.
@8P4JRW84yrs4Y
No, but the government should cap childcare at $10/day.
@996L2JH2yrs2Y
No, that depends on the ideas of each individual family
@8VRHTMD4yrs4Y
Do a tax credit or a payment instead because rural families can’t access the daycares
