Taxes if used properly are there to serve the people and social programs. The fact that the government mis-uses it should mean that they are held accountable for their abuse of the system.

I agree with income tax being lowered, I do however think that instead of increasing sales tax to make up for it, we should increase tax on capital gains, and creat a land value tax.
