I think they should screen anyone they feel is a risk of being involved in terrorism, not just specifically one group of people.

 @8Y7F4SNNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

no, because the majorty of muslium immigraints are coming here to seek a better life for there family and we should not be labeling musliums as terrorist and putting them through more extensive testing. if we banned one group we should be banneding all because its not fair because anybody can be a terrorist or criminal.

Question assumes only Muslims are terrorist - what about home grown terrorist

 @8VS64J5New Democraticfrom Nova Scotia  answered…4yrs4Y

No, we should keep the racism aside until terrorist attacks are happening

 @8VNNV57New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Be allowed in the country. But be screened and not be able to vote. ( but technically everyone should be screened.. anyone can be a terrorist!)

 @8VMFPYMNew Democraticfrom Nova Scotia  answered…4yrs4Y

No but do extensive background checks especially from "high risk"countries

 @8VLDWFRNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8VKKSCLNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

I think that we shouldn’t ban Muslim immigrants entirely. I think we just need a stronger policy to screen out potential terrorists, while still allowing Muslim immigrants and families to enter the country.

 @8VHM4PKNew Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

You will never know if someone is a terrorist before they do anything, so this seems incredibly flawed to me.
We should know who is in our country and offer support for transitioning over here. If they are required to work with a program/counselor for the first year in Canada, there is a better chance of getting to know them and knowing what their goals are.

 @8T3RW2VNew Democraticfrom Manitoba  answered…4yrs4Y

Not all muslims are terrorists. It’s an extreme racial assumption to make.

 @8QW4LNPNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

If the person has finished a screening if they came from a high risk country. If they have then there is no reason they can’t come in

 @8QS2X5MNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

Screening should be improved in general not just Muslim’s are terrorists.

 @8PVRC6SNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but it should be made sure that they don't bring harmful cultural practices with them

 @8PN8ZDVNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

This question almost sounds kinda discriminatory, people should be screen regardless of race.

 @8M9VG8NNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No matter if your race religion or creed if the government cannot properly vet an individual then they cannot come to Canada

 @ZaneThind17New Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Now I get the safety concern but banning only Muslims from immigration isn't good we should let them into the country but have great security at airports in case anything goes sideways.

 @8J5DSV3New Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

no one should be banned but the screening process needs to be improved for anyone who immigrates

 @8CHK3NVNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…5yrs5Y

 @95G9GCNNew Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but they should search their belongings, and bodies done by someone of the same gender.

 @8VQGW5MNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

All immigrants need to be screened equally well no matter what country.

 @8TMM8NGNew Democraticfrom Nova Scotia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8RX8KJBNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

In ways yes but at the same time I see this as discriminating on a race which is not good.

 @8K33N95New Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

This should not be only muslims. All immigrants should be properly screened

 @9BP4PYBNew Democraticfrom Saskatchewan  answered…2yrs2Y

 @97JFCVDNew Democraticfrom Manitoba  answered…2yrs2Y

no, that is a terrible way to look at someone because of their religion.

 @96ML3STNew Democraticfrom New Brunswick  answered…2yrs2Y

No but the government needs to improve its screening process to ensure immigrants from high risk countries understand the difference between our culture and where they come from ie sharia law is not acceptable practice in Canada

 @8ZG86HGNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…3yrs3Y

 @8S2LJ24 from California  answered…3yrs3Y

No, banning anyone based on who they are, what they believe in, and what they have done in the past is against the teachings of Jesus Christ

 @7PTCG38 from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but immigrants from "high risk" countries should have thorough background checks completed to screen out potential acts of terrorism, regardless of race or religion

 @7PTCG38 from Wisconsin  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but immigrants from "high risk" countries should have thorough background checks completed before entering our country.
