No. There hasn't been a terrorist attack in a long time and personally using the term terrorists as an argument to keep Muslims out of the country is quite stereotypical.

Muslims can enter the country as long as they assimilate their values and beliefs to the western one. I prefer oppressed groups from Islamic countries to have the right to move to Canada.

WOAH THERE BUDDY, dont assume all muslims are terrorists. There's many extremist muslims, but not all muslims are terrorists... im cool with screening becoming improved but not banning muslims from entry...

Muslims shouldn't be singled out, there should be a standard screening process for anyone entering the country with regards to terrorism

 @8VH6LZ8Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Not just Muslims as terrorists can come from varying religious backgrounds.

We should stop taking in immigrants until we can make sure our own poverty is addressed. We have war veterans on the streets. We have homeless children. Fix Canada first

 @8TYLQCKLiberalfrom Alberta  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8TYGST7Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No one shoyld be banned because of their religion, but there should be a thorough screening process and better education on Canadian culture.

 @8TY3D4PLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but the process for immigrants coming from “high risk” countries should be more thorough

No because assuming that the terrorists are the Muslim’s is morally wrong if said restrictions were put to place, it than shouldn’t be just for Muslim but every other religion in the world, Islam (the religion) doesn’t in force Terrorism therefore the people committing these acts are in fact not Muslim as they are not practicing the religion the way it is peacefully intended

No, but they should go through a screening process when they enter Canada where they're under restrictions until the screening is complete

 @8RY53QGfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No but we should carefully search anyone coming from high risk countries, not just Muslims.

 @8RTQ9LXfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No they should not be banned but there should be a higher screening process

 @8RBBZ9Ffrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, because the government has nothing to fear regarding this, and it can further radicalise the Muslim community.

 @8R4N9N3Liberalfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QSP7FNLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No but we should increase the screening process for immigrants from "high risk" countries.

 @8QLHRN2Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

there are terrorist's from other places it is unfair to not allow people into the contry because of a small group of people and where they are from.

 @yuriyp11from Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8PYHWDBLiberalfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

We should better determine what type of immigration is require and which one will be able to better adapt to our culture, laws and regulation. Combining the previous assessment along with adequate screening process will reduce further cultural issues

they should limit the number of immigrants from anywhere till the ability to screen the terrorists out

 @8NMY445Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Canada's immigration system and security is currently very strong, and continues to improve. I do not believe it is necessary to ban immigrants coming from Islamic countries.

 @8LDHHYVLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but a thorough background check must be done before they are permitted entry

 @8GWNSMSLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8FWRQNKLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

Immigration is fine as long as there is balance and they bring in skills

 @8DSFD3HLiberalfrom Quebec  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, but only for those who have criminal backgrounds. They shouldn't be banned, but just investigated.

 @8D4Z87YLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

I think that we should always accept immigrants, as long as they do not have a large criminal record. Although we should have a better screening process.

This is a racist and demeaning question. It could be applied to anyone, Muslim's should not be mentioned nor should any other religion.

 @9CMNJDGfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

all immigrants should have to be cleared from being a terrorist (not just a certain group)

 @9CMLN75Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9CCV775Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

 @8TMP2YHfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but we should improve on detecting potential threats and allow more immigrants from democratic/allied states.

 @8TG4MNXLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, banning isn't necessary, but reviewing information about their background and if they committed any serious crimes will improve the safety of the country

 @8SNY6KPLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Create effective surveys to determine weather or not there is suspicion prior to while applying our current screening process .

 @8K2D5KYLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

 @NikolaLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

They should be allowed to immigrate but after two weeks of settling into life, they need to go through a screening process.

 @9CM3CQCfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

The country to which they immigrate to should have to provide their own screening

 @99F856Tfrom Alberta  answered…2yrs2Y

 @999K34WLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

the government should improve its ability to screen out potential terrorists no matter religion

 @97D3ZP8Liberalfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

No, banning immigrants based on their religion is unconstitutional, the background checks should be more thorough on anyone, Muslim or not.

 @96M2JLWLiberalfrom British Columbia  answered…3yrs3Y

Banning Muslims altogether is unconstitutional. However a criminal record check may be a good idea. But may it be a FAIR criminal record check.

 @93C3SG6Liberalfrom Manitoba  answered…3yrs3Y

No, but improve the ability to screen out potential terrorists and keep a lookout for any sort of unwanted business.

 @8YTVS28Liberalfrom Alberta  answered…3yrs3Y

They shouldn't ban Muslim immigrant but check to see if they are in need of help or escape from their country
