Should Canada increase or decrease the amount of temporary work visas given to high-skilled immigrant workers?
Skilled temporary work visas are usually given to foreign scientists, engineers, programmers, architects, executives, and other positions or fields where demand outpaces supply. Most businesses argue that hiring skilled foreign workers allows them to competitively fill positions which are in high demand. Opponents argue that skilled immigrants decrease middle class wages and job tenure.

Companies should be allowed to hire foreign workers, but the government will provide no incentives to do so, and companies must pay all expenses to hire these foreign workers (sponsorship)

Monitor how this impacts our economy and increase or decrease as is needed. Ask for more detailed public input and provide more information to the public in terms of information across the board.

Canada should grant temporary work visas in a controlled way to make sure that it is sustainable and that the best and the brightest come to Canada.

Increase, as long as their education is verified via stringent professional testing

Increase, but only if the immigrants are brought in to the country with eventual citizenship in mind.

Remove government from this. Government does not have the right to prevent someone from working.

Have the required amount don't add more and encourage it but don't discourage it. In essences the Government should stay out and not have any involvement.
@MSelvig3yrs3Y
Keep it the same for now, while remembering that we should be encouraging our own citizens to work toward these jobs.

i do not have enough information to conduct a stance.

Regardless, the government should implement an open border policy
