The way taxes are allocated is the problem. I like a federal system for health care but we need to account for federal taxes in a way that lets the tax payers see the way our dollars are spent. I have many ideas re this topic and too much for this site.

The provincial federal and municipal governments should all be responsible for healthcare, the federal government should do what it has to do to ensure healthcare is up to standards, with enough funding and implement policies on a federal level to improve healthcare.
