Ensure Canadian citizens are cared for primarily. Our own citizens can’t get a doctor but all the influx of immigrants are given priority. This has weighed heavily on our heath care and we can’t keep up

 @9S7LSQ3from Quebec  answered…8mos8MO

No, move money into solidfying the infrastructure and increasing the quality of the workplace in hospitals rather than pay doctors more.

 @9RDL883from Quebec  answered…9mos9MO

Investing in more emergency physicians/providing more services privately without taking away the ability to get them publically

 @9QV4KY2from Quebec  answered…9mos9MO

No, and implement a two tier public/private system, private having to accept the social insurance card while receiving what it costs in the public service for the same act/service

 @9M7X3CQLiberalfrom Quebec  answered…11mos11MO

The government should focus on improving the conditions of the public system to reduce the chances of more privatization for services.

If They invest, they should invest in improving the quality of healthcare education and providing a more effective healthcare system : ( waiting rooms, waiting lists, more doctors and nurses)

 @9GZYG4Jfrom Quebec  answered…1yr1Y

No, instead provide healthcare vouchers and healthcare tax credits for low income individual/families.

 @9GDJ6X8Conservativefrom Quebec  answered…1yr1Y

We need to spend them money we have already allocated better by cutting hospital overhead and reducing doctor salaries

 @B2ZJGTPfrom Quebec  answered…2mos2MO

No but try to increase productivity, the amount of nurses I know who slack on the job is astronomous

 @96JMWGFfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

INCREASE NUMBER of doctors and let people go directly to the specialist, the waiting times are terrible, people should not be suffering until they are referred.

 @965PJS8from Quebec  answered…3yrs3Y

Our taxes should cover all cost of healthcare but we have a corrupted country where our taxes are not going to the citizens

 @95ZW3HZBloc Québécoisfrom Quebec  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, they should increase financing but let provinces handle the financing how they please.

The federal government should allow provinces to tax and spend on health care as they see fit

Yes, and redirect the funds to the right services (less bureaucracy - more efficiency)

The federal government should build long term care homes so that expensive hospital beds are not occupied by people who should be in relatively speaking lower cost long term care home beds.

 @8VMRLW4New Democraticfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

The government needs to invest in preventative care. People need to learn to make healthier life choices and take ownership of diseases caused by lifestyle choices.

 @8VLXFMHfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Way too much wasted resources on beurocracy in the Healthcare system. Clean it up.

 @8VFQHXYfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Remove more of the administration that has huge salaries and spend it on nurses, doctors and technicians

 @8V8MWTQfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

More money should be given if needed, but only once a full and thorough audit and control of current spending has been done.

 @8TWHG2Bfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

More money should be spent on health care. This money should go to the front line workers that directly effect the patients. Less spending should go to the hospital administration.

Canada Health Transfer (CHT) and tax points still stands at 35 per cent. Maybe consider raising the transfers to 40%.

 @8RWNQNPfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

No, but the current budget should be allocated better like in Scandinavian countries

Yes, but only in a way that addresses the current strain on the system. Simply throwing money at the problem does nothing, a concrete plan created with provinces is needed.

 @9BCV3LXfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

 @996RLCQfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

yes, the amount of money should be spent to a certain extend and a private healthcare should also be a private healthcare option for the people who wants extra healthcare.
