Should the federal government subsidize the production and consumption of renewable energy sources?
Yes and they should offer those who are loosing there jobs in the gas/oil sector schooling to switch to clean/green energy.

Should funding for local police departments be redirected to social and community based programs?
Both should be increased, and eventually decrease the police once the social programs are being more effective.
