The two-state solution is a proposed diplomatic solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The proposal envisions an independent State of Palestine that borders Israel. Palestinian leadership has supported the concept since the 1982 Arab Summit in Fez. In 2017 the Hamas (a Palestinian Resistance movement that controls the Gaza strip) accepted the solution without recognizing Israel as a state. I do not think a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is possible. I support the abolishment of the ethno-state of Israel, and the formation of a new state that provides equal rights for all people regardless of race and religion.

Theoretically, the two state solution should have been the best solution for both governments. However, with how hostile the current governments of Israel and Palestine are to each other, it does not work in it's current state; it would need reform in order to work.
