No, Quebec already has their own identity as a Province.
Becoming their own country will only create problems. They can't even get onboard when it comes to agreeing to stay on Eastern Standard Time. Quebec is holding the entire eastern seaboard hostage by not complying.

Let the citizens of Quebec vote. If they vote yes to become a sovereign nation, they must also take their share of the debt, cut all economic/military support from Canada and provide relocation assistance to Canadian citizens wanting to move out of Quebec.

Quebec is every bit as much of a part of the country of Canada, as any of the other provinces and territories. The federal government needs to work with them, and help to deal with their specific needs as a part of Canada.

Yes, as long as Canada's territory remains contiguous, they leave with no more territory than they had in 1867, and they take a proportional share of the national debt.
