No, however minimum wage should be based on age and your situation. If you are living at home, you should not be making the same as someone who is on their own.

The cost of living is different in different provinces and territories, so the provinces and territories should set their own minimum wages. A federal minimum wage would be unfair to workers in the most expensive parts of Canada.

if you are doing the same job, you should be paid the same regardless of age

Yes, and adjust it every year according to inflation but also adjust the rate of inflation depending on the need of the worker and age bracket. A high school student doesn't need to be making $30/hr if that was the min wage.

Should be based on their family. If it’s their only career, then yes. If not, then no

Make it a living wage for people over 18 and keep it the same for people under 18.

Coming with increased wages it just increases the economy which means our increase everything else such as food to power cuz it happened the same time a few years ago when we raised they didn't come to 15 dollars an hour when we did that prices for food and power went up increasing rages the right thinking it's just not the right answer

I think it depends on the circustances. Depenidng on numerous factors such as if you are working to support yourself or your family or if you're just getting your first job and its main purpose is to develope experience it should be adjusted accordingly. It also depends on other factors such as inflation.
