Should the government increase or decrease foreign aid spending?

We need to support others who cannot support themselves because they are already under attack. We would want others to assist us if we were invaded.

I believe that while we should still provide humanitarian support, the gov. should focus on Canadian issues, like the lack of clean water for native communities

I think we should focus on our own foreign aid spending, how much we need to decrease/increase it, before we look into decreasing or increasing other foreign countries aids.

Decrease, we have people struggling in our own country

I support the current amount of spending but more focus should be put on dealing with poverty in Canada before we help other countries.

Increase, but decrease aid to countries that harbour or promote terrorism

Decrease somewhat until all Canadians are properly taken care of.

I believe that we need to focus more on our own people. Start by giving everyone safe drinking water and adequate housing.

Increase but with precautions that it is being spent properly.

Stay the same until Canada has aided their own Canadian Citizens and Indigenous 4th world conditions.

If we could guarantee that they would be giving the money to people who actually need it then yes

Review all spending and strict standard must apply to avoid trudough like corruption

Satisfied with current spending but deny aid to countries that harbour or promote terrorism, and that have no human rights violations.
