Our foreign aid spending should be tied to our current economic outlook and should be linked to our production and growth.

Send supples rather than funds, and send to organizations who set out to positively help their country rather than to organizations or the government that violate human rights laws.

Canada should not only decrease the human aid spending on other countries, they should try to eliminate it fully because most of our foreign aid that is sent to other countries is not getting received or is being sold there. I was in Lebanon and I saw different foreign aid from all over the world being sold on the regular rather than helping people with it.

Decrease, and deny aid to countries that harbor and/or promote terrorism, commit crime against children and/or crime against humanity.

Decrease, and invest the money within Canada instead to help our people first

 @8WFRGBHfrom Quebec  answered…3yrs3Y

No continuous spending for foreign but make sure legitimate government officials

Certain things can and should be funded, nutrition, healthcare and first aid in 3rd world countries should be funded the rest of the money should be spent in Canada on Canadians to improve our daily lives in some manner

 @8VTN8CGfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Foreign aid spending do not resolve any problems, it patch it only.Plus, the money goes,most of the time, in the corruption pocket.

 @8VMMFJMfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

I am satisfied with the current amount and we should deny aid to countries that harbor or promote terrorism. Also, any amounts left at the end of the fiscal year should go to reduce our national budget deficit.

 @8VL89Q4from Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Keep helping, but also spend more on our own people as well. We have a lot of people that need help here on Canadian soil.

 @8VKNNBWfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Commission to evaluate case by case and on a global scale. Better transparency on aid and allocation

Canada should stop being active in destabilizing foreign countries and sell arms to them.

 @8V5QXMRNew Democraticfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase or maintain, but only to countries suffering from major disasters with a relatively good human rights records within a specific recent period at least.

 @8TN4GLWfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Decrease, except for Canada’s allies of which the amount of foreign aid given to them should not be decreased.

 @8SF7HN3from Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

Increase, but only for countries that have no human rights violations. Countries with human rights violations should be denied foreign aid.

 @8PLSR3Bfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

I think we should focus more on our own country and the problems that we have in it

 @8GYN5NPfrom Quebec  answered…4yrs4Y

I’m satisfied with the budget , possible decrease the next year due to COVID

 @997CMSMfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

Decrease, because foreign aid is a remedial solution to chronic problems

 @96GC756New Democraticfrom Quebec  answered…2yrs2Y

Instead, Canada should collaborate more with NGOs and other independent organizations so that the funds are directed to helping the people, not the governments

 @8YKJ829from Quebec  answered…3yrs3Y

We should increase it by taking away from the military budget and sending troops and engineering corps to help build infrastructures and teach how to run them. We do not need weapons, we need to provide the means of production and help them be self-sufficient.
