The control of terrorism can be increased, but at the same time, there is a legal guarantee for people who are framed in the normal execution of tasks.

 @8R4SVN4New Democraticfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but as a precaution, there should be specific task forces to handle these matters and have local police as back ups

 @8QWC29JNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but they should not be too aggressive on the day to day lives of citizens

 @99HH6R5New Democraticfrom Alberta  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but citizens should be allowed to be made aware of the process to increase accountability, and the scope should be increased to all crime.

 @98DFNY4New Democraticfrom Manitoba  answered…2yrs2Y

I d ont really trust the police force and I feel like they would wrongfully convict someone. someone should only be convicted if there is solid 100% evidence they are a terrorist

I would support a Bill that allows police to protect all citizens of this country and actually be an effective service.

 @8VZTNQYNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

It depends if there is a lot of terrorism happening at certain times, otherwise I agree.

Only if there is more funding to Canada’s Security Intelligence Review Committee (SIRC) and that warrants must be approved properly.

 @8FKPHGBNew Democraticfrom Ontario  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes, as long as it is not used as an excuse to racially profile people based on "suspicion of planning a crime" by police.

 @8WKPCRHfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, It further enables police to abuse their power and if bad cops take advantage of this a lot of really bad things.

 @8WBCMXMfrom Nova Scotia  answered…4yrs4Y

Until we as a society can fully trust the authorities, we should not give the police even more power then they currently have.

No we can barely trust our federal, provincial, and municipal policing to do they job in a non biase manner. Let’s put efforts into proper trainning and m natal health and continuing training and evaluations of the policing system we have in place now.
