Single use plastics can be used to preserve food, or used to carry important contents from place to place. Should we agree, that plastics have a negative impact on our ecosystem, given the amount of time to decompose, etc. I am against an outright ban. Disincentivizing the use of them through tax premiums for the sale and production of them, may be a more sound course of action.
