Imagine you were the child of someone who was forced to give birth to you & you grew up unwanted, potentially uncared for and neglected - put through the system and face unthinking situations, facing significant mental health concerns. Later you find out that you had to face this life because the government forced someone to have you. Now fast forward, you find out you’re pregnant with a baby you do not want & cannot care for, but the government will not allow you to have an abortion. You have to carry that baby knowing that the outcome will just be the same perpetual cycle. And yes I know some adoption/ foster stories have great and happy endings - those make up a fraction of experiences, and the reality of banning abortions are not those few instances.
