What they don't want is to break their back and lose their work/life balance for work. I support a four day work week, but I also think it's just as fine to set a limit on how many hours a person could work a day, and how many days a week, for example. After a certain amount of time in the day, even the hardest workers output is slowed down, their ability to do their job as well as they should is diminished. We have studies on this. A limit of 8 hours or less is better. I also think a five day work week is fine for people too. Lots of people are satisfied with the concept of a weekend for a reason.
