Doug Ford's Progressive Conservatives have won a third consecutive majority government in Ontario, while the NDP will remain the official opposition. Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie failed to secure a seat in Mississauga East—Cooksville, losing to PC candidate Silvia Gualtieri. Despite this setback, Crombie has vowed to stay on as party leader. The Ontario Liberals, however, regained official party status for the first time since 2018, marking a small victory for the party. The election results solidify Ford's continued leadership in the province.

Another Ford majority is bad news for working people in Ontario—more cuts, more privatization, and more handouts to big corporations. The NDP holding onto opposition is good, but we need a stronger progressive movement to actually challenge Ford's damaging policies. At least the Liberals regained official party status, but Crombie staying on after losing her own seat doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.
Great to see Ontarians sticking with common-sense leadership that keeps the economy strong and taxes low! Crombie staying on after losing her seat just shows how out of touch the Liberals still are.

Disappointing result, but at least the Liberals regained party status—now Crombie needs to rebuild and actually give Ford some real opposition.
Ford's win shows that Ontarians still prefer a pro-business, low-tax approach, but the Liberals regaining official status is a step toward a stronger centrist alternative.
