Should foreigners be banned from buying homes in Canada for 2 years?

It depends on their situation and why they entered Canada in the first place

Do they have a criminal record? What is on the criminal record? I think they deserve a place to live, but I'm not gonna say they should buy immediately. Maybe they should be placed in a home and see if they will treat the home respectfully.
