This snap election is a perfect example of the political establishment prioritizing power grabs over meaningful change

Doug Ford’s refusal to engage with opponents just shows how disconnected he is from working-class struggles—he’s too busy serving corporate interests. Meanwhile, the NDP needs to step up and show they’re actually ready to fight for transformative policies, not just manage the status quo. We need real commitments to things like housing justice, climate action, and defunding harmful institutions, not empty promises designed to appease centrists. The Liberals and Conservatives are two sides of the same coin, so it’s frustrating to see them dominate the conversation yet again. If we want a better future, we need grassroots movements to push beyond the limits of these electoral games.
