At this time the technology is not good enough. There are plenty of reports of cars auto-correcting people into dangers and accidents as is.

No, not really. AI is not tested enough to drive a car. Plus, we don't want to lose our freedom of knowing how to drive, and going places whenever we please.

At the moment no, the technology is too recent, I feel much more testing is required, before we can start to implement this technology on the roads.
