Rare images have surfaced showing the Mashco Piro tribe, considered the world's largest uncontacted group, emerging near logging sites in the Peruvian Amazon. The tribe, known for their nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle, has been spotted close to areas where logging company Canales Tahuamanu has constructed over 120 miles of roads for timber extraction. Despite the encroachment, the company remains certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). These sightings raise urgent concerns about the impact of logging on uncontacted tribes and the need for immediate action to protect their land and way of life from further intrusion.
