Meeting with someone like Tommy Robinson doesn't automatically mean you endorse everything they stand for. It feels like we're losing the ability to even have discussions with people who have different views, without being immediately ostracized. This kind of action by Doug Ford just shows how far the party has drifted from truly conservative values, where freedom of speech and thought are supposed to be paramount. Expelling Ghamari so quickly without a thorough investigation or a chance for her to explain her side feels more like a knee-jerk reaction to avoid media backlash than a measured decision. It's concerning to see the party so eager to distance itself from anything that's even slightly controversial, rather than standing firm on principles. If the PC party continues down this path, it's going to alienate a lot of its base who believe in open dialogue and the importance of hearing all sides.
