The federal government alone spends over $50 billion per year on debt servicing. That's over double our military budget, & more than we spend every year on the Canada Health Transfer. Continuing to borrow will only make the number higher, & eventually we'll get into a debt spiral of having to borrow money to pay the interest on money we already borrowed.

We can't borrow money forever & eventually the servicing costs of the debt will come back to bite us like back in the '90s

If the government continues to borrow money. We will reach a point where the cost of debt services will grow too large for the government to be able to render services to the people. Constant deficits sacrifice the future generations for the luxury of the current generation.

Yes, amend the construction to cap the amount of borrowing, only allow borrowing for capital project that increases economic growth
