State and religion should be completely separate. There are many different religions as well as non religious people so it would be unfair to them and there are also many different views within the religion. At times the religion can be discriminatory especially when it comes to the lgbtq+ community, also if it was part of education, they would be imposing their religion upon non willing participants.
