I feel that it is a pretty controversial thing

In my personal option no they should not. Yes they can believe what they want but they shouldn't have any power over laws involving the education and marriage of all the people. It is unjustified or unfair for people who do not believe in the faith or go against their beliefs to be punished. So no they should not have a say in political matters involving the whole community.

Yes, but only for non-surgical treatments such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy
