The two-state solution is a proposed diplomatic solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The proposal envisions an independent State of Palestine that borders Israel. Palestinian leadership has supported the concept since the 1982 Arab Summit in Fez. In 2017 the Hamas (a Palestinian Resistance movement that controls the Gaza strip) accepted the solution without recognizing Israel as a state. The current Israeli leadership has stated that a two-state solution can only exist without Hamas and the current Palestinian leadership. The U.S. would have to take a central role in any talks bet…

No, dismantle the Israeli occupation and free Palestine
@9TW98DJ7mos7MO
The two state solution is apartheid and Israel is committing genocide in Palestine
No, Israel should stop committing genocide, and Palestine should be given back its land.
@9V5ZSM77mos7MO
The government should support a full ceasefire of the genocide happening on the Palestinian population by the Israeli military
@B4LXJVM1wk1W
NO. Israel should not impose on Palestine. There is no two-state solution when you have MURDERED HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS.
@B3KFQF62mos2MO
No, I believe that Israel and Palestine should unite into the Land of God Federation (LGF) and that Israel should rebuild Palestine as well as remove its rampant extremism and terrorism. Both Israelis and Arabs will be equal in the LGF.
@9X3V5MB6mos6MO
Both states should be dissolved, and a new democratic one should form that acknowledges and enforces equal rights and freedoms for Palestinians and Israelis alike
@9XJ225M6mos6MO
No, Palestine should be the only state in which both Israelis and Palestinians can live side by side
@9VGGMWSConservative7mos7MO
It doesn't matter what I support. It's up to them.
@9V249ZQ7mos7MO
Yes, but only after the demilitarization and deradicalization of Palestinian society.
@9TYZTWF7mos7MO
Only Israel rules. No Palestine, no Arabs, and no f... Islam
Abolish Israel as a state and give Palestinians sovereignty over their own land.

Why do Canadians need to weigh in on this? I don’t think it’s any of our business.
@9SL7F3M8mos8MO
Right now the government should Stay out of it (but support Israel’s right to self Defence).
@9SKWLRJ8mos8MO
Only if Iran and all of its proxy groups are unable to control the new Palestinian State.
@RusticReagentLibertarian 9mos9MO
Palestine is so unstable that a split from Israel is not wanted.
@9RC97PLNew Democratic9mos9MO
Yes, but only as a stop-gap between full integration as a single country granting full rights to Palestinians. A two state solution will prolong animosity in the long run.
@9QYHT2W9mos9MO
They can figure it out themselves. Keep religious wars between those fighting them.
@9RBNFB79mos9MO
A 2 state solution is impossible without major concessions from Isreal on giving land back and power over infrastructure. Only a one state solution is viable.
@9P3FXVC10mos10MO
Yes, but United States and other countries should not interfere within this, and Hamas should legislatively and financially pay for the damage it caused to Israel.
@9MMZ9Q711mos11MO
No egypt should get gaza and jordan gets west bank
@9JZVYL6New Democratic 1yr1Y
Yes, but I would rather there be one state wherein religious/ethnic groups are not separated or at war and instead co-exist peacefully, however unrealistic such a proposition may be at this moment in time.
@B4QTM2X2 days2D
The 2 state solution seems adequate, but I do not have enough knowledge of the Israel-Palestine conflict to answer this question
