How do you feel when you hear languages you don't understand, and why do you think you feel that way?

I feel intrigued by the language and a drive to learn more languages. I feel this way because I think all languages are unique forms of communication.

I feel like I’d love to understand them more and would tec to make a device so there is no language barrier

Because I don’t spend much time learning these languages.

I feel out of the loop but enjoy the multiculturalism.

Me personally, when I hear other people speaking another language, I do not think anything of it. I understand that people have different cultures and may not speak the broadly spoken English language.

don’t mind unless they’re loud and annoying but that goes for anyone

I envy them as I am a first nation woman who was denied that right.

I wonder about what they’re saying! That’s all. Honestly, I think other languages and forms of communication are super cool. I appreciate the different ways language has developed, and people speaking in another language doesn’t bother me at all. Unless they’re trying to give me directions. Then it’s confusing.

I love hearing other languages, it doesn't matter that I don't understand them myself, diversity in canada is important to me

It doesn’t matter to me. I’m use to it and I don’t understand why it bugs anyone

i feel nothing because i shouldnt feel anything if i dont understand a language, unless its about something important to me or me myself

It make be proud to be Canadian and opens up the opportunity to learn thank you in another language

I don’t usually feel any emotions unless it seems as though they’re speaking in the non-majority language of English to exclude someone

Personally I don't care much when I hear languages I don't understand, to each their own and in a public setting that's not where my attention is at.

I think new languages are cool and interesting I don’t care if I don’t understand

i don't like when people make fun of me in a language that i do not understand but i am a minority and its weird that other minorites make me uncomfortable.

I do not think about how I feel when people speak languages I do not understand. If it evokes any feeling, it should inspire a drive for people to learn more languages.
