Throughout the pandemic, it has been very easy for students to skip classes and not pay attention to class. COVID-19 has negatively affected a substantial amount of students over the years, causing us to have less of an attention span, increased depression and anxiety rates, etc. Students believe attending class every day is very draining to their mental health and therefore need a break. Being overwhelmed can happen at any point of the week or day, and if they skip class, it is mainly to receive that (mental) break.
