Absolutely not. Everyone has the right to religion therfor no one religion should be used to make laws and have a say in political matters.

No. i say it as a Christian that a separation of Church and State should be upheld in society. It is better for the people and the Church that the Church does not govern society.

The catholic church should have their say whether or not they accept gay marriage at their individual church, but as a collective should not have sway within the government. Catholics as individual members of society are entitled to their say in political matters, same as any other canadian citizen.

I believe in free speech for everyone. The Catholic Church is free to say what they want, but not have control over the law.
