The Catholic Church has a complicated role in politics, especially when it comes to marriage and education regulations. Religious influence, the separation of church and state, religious freedom, moral advice, and ethical contribution are all involved. In order to serve the needs of a varied population, contemporary administration must strike a balance between individual rights and religious convictions.

I think that the Catholic Church should have a say in political matters, as long as they are only preaching to their believers. I see no issue with the Catholic Church preaching about their views on topics to the believers of Catholisism, and others who are interested, but I do see an issues on the Catholic Church preaching to those who have no desire to hear about what they have to say. We live in a very diverse society, where people are free to believe in whatever they please. With that come understanding that one religion cannot have more power other the masses than others. It simply would not be fair.

The Catholic Church's position in politics is a complicated topic that involves individual rights, religious influence, and the separation of church and state. This is especially true of marriage and education regulations. While religious freedom permits persons to follow their faith freely from governmental intervention, separation guarantees that legislation represent a variety of needs and views. While religious organizations provide moral direction, legislation should be implemented in a way that respects individual rights and strikes a balance with the diversity of society beliefs. The democratic process should take religious institutions' ethical perspective into account. In summary, maintaining the rights of individuals while also respecting religious convictions is an essential component of contemporary administration.

No, I think poltical matters are better to do a say about service laws or just laws in general.

No, I think different churches and religions make their own rules depending on what they believe in. However, having a say in political matters seems unjust.

No, they believe in something that has been disproven so they shouldn’t have a say in something that actually exists.

 @9JWL386Liberalfrom Alberta  answered…1yr1Y

No, they shouldn't. They're biased because of what the bible says, and most would not allow gay marriages or abortions, which is wrong because that shouldn't be their choice and one religion shouldn't have a say in the government. It should be all or none.

It depends on the people if they want the catholic church to have a say in political matters.

Yes, The Catholic church should have a say because of it's past and how truthful they are

 @9K5TPYYLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

I don't think so, I think political matters should discuss own their own about these topics or services. Like, it is better not conclude religion and leave the way that everyone practices.

I believe that religiuos beliefs should not interfere with laws because not all people in Canda follow the same religion, therefore, it would not make sense to base laws off of the Catholic Church.

The role of the Catholic Church or any religious institution in influencing political matters is a matter of ongoing debate. In democratic societies, there is often a separation between church and state to ensure the protection of religious freedom and the rights of individuals with diverse beliefs.

While individuals, including members of the Catholic Church, have the right to engage in political discourse and advocate for their values, there are concerns about the imposition of religious doctrines on secular laws. Many argue that decisions about marriage and education should be based on princ…  Read more

Definitely not religion is different for everyone and not everyone has a religion so why should they have a say in politics.

 @9K3K8KGLiberalfrom Ontario  answered…1yr1Y

No, the truth they base their world off of has been in many times disproven, as well as shown to be not as old as they thought. Where all these bible stories are not written at the same time and just folk tales gathered together.
