No, the catholic church should not have a say in the catholic church as when in history has this been a good idea. The church should remain a private entity.
@9JVNRCZ1yr1Y
religions shouldnt have a say on political matter spcially about sexuality because not everybody is catholic so why base your rules off of it
@9HLZ4PMConservative1yr1Y
I think every one should have a say no matter who you are or what religion you are.
@9HL4P67Conservative1yr1Y
They should have a say in those connected to their own institutions for example their churches, school, etc.
@9K27SLWConservative1yr1Y
Yes. Marriage should not even be a political thing. They literally made marriage. It is not for politicians to say anything about marriage.
@9JVWBMFConservative1yr1Y
i think it is still important to have catholic views for our country because i think they have a good value of life.
@9K4LXDXConservative1yr1Y
yes because religion matter. It can be more important to people than others but everyone should have a right to voice their opinions
@9JVVX2BConservative 1yr1Y
The catholic church still shoujld have say in political like laws about marriage and educatiuon because i feel that the Catholic Church can be trusted in certain aspects, as long as each individual can make appropriate wise decisions.
@9JVVX2BConservative 1yr1Y
I think the catholic church should still have a say in political matters like certain laws about marriage and education because they have the best internet rather than a different type of organization.
@9JZMBGWConservative1yr1Y
I believe that the Catholic church should be allowed to continue certain practices (Catholic school education) and refuse certain processes (such as same-sex marriage) within their church and communities
@9JYXBXNConservative1yr1Y
I think it should stay the way it is because people have the choice to attend catholic church or schools, and it is not forced.
@9JWKY77Conservative1yr1Y
I think that marriage laws should stayed governed the way they are and if you practice a certain religion you stay to those rules.
@9K5VCPRConservative1yr1Y
No. No religious institution should have a say in Government matters.
@9JWLH89Conservative1yr1Y
I dont really believe religion should be higher than the government. And it's not a necessity to give churches a say in political matters.
@9JWH96HConservative1yr1Y
They should have a say in who gets married in their religion. If you’re views no longer align with theirs, separate your beliefs from theirs.
@9JFN8QXConservative1yr1Y
no because political decisions should not be based on religion. it should be be dependent on societies daily functions. not everyone will be christian.
@9K4SHF3Conservative1yr1Y
I think it's important to consider the separation of church and state when it comes to political matters. While individuals within the Catholic Church may have their own beliefs and opinions, it's crucial to ensure that laws and policies are based on the principles of equality, fairness, and the well-being of society as a whole. In a diverse society, it's important to respect different perspectives and ensure that decisions are made through a democratic process that takes into account the needs and rights of all individuals, regardless of religious affiliation.
@9JKDKZ8Conservative 1yr1Y
Nope. Religion should have no role in government. The Catholic Church has also shown poor judgement several times throughout history. Especially in Canada.
@9K5F39HConservative1yr1Y
I believe that the catholic church should have a say in the laws about marriage and education because The Catholic Church advocates for mostly what God would want, and it could unify our society.
@9JWBVF7Conservative1yr1Y
no i think it is a personal choice a church, and religion that claims to accept everyone seems to be awfully bias to gays.
@9JVMDVDConservative1yr1Y
No, but people should be allowed to vote based on their views. If someone is a Catholic and wants the Catholic views, they can vote for such.
