Recent escalations in the Gaza Strip have brought about damning accusations of war crimes against Israeli forces by international bodies like Amnesty International. The accusations stem from a string of aerial bombardments carried out by Israeli forces between 7 and 12 October 2023, which caused extensive civilian casualties and destruction. These attacks reportedly violated international humanitarian law by either failing to distinguish between civilians and military objectives or possibly being directed against civilian objects.
Amnesty International has documented these attacks through testimonials from survivors and eyewitnesses, alongside the analysis of satellite imagery, photos, and videos. The organization found that in some cases, entire families were wiped out, causing a horrific human toll. The Israeli forces, in their pursuit to destroy Hamas, have been accused of showing a shocking disregard for civilian lives. The aftermath has left Gaza in a dire humanitarian crisis, exacerbating the already precarious living conditions under a 16-year long blockade imposed by Israel.
The toll of this conflict is grave, with at least 3,793 people killed in Gaza, including over 1,500 children, and more than 1,400 people killed in Israel as of the recent escalations. Both Hamas and Israeli forces are accused of committing war crimes. The international community is urged to act, with calls for a comprehensive arms embargo against Israel and for the International Criminal Court to expedite its ongoing investigation into war crimes allegations. The relentless violence threatens to foster further instability in the region, highlighting the urgent need for justice and a halt to the ongoing hostilities.

Do you think an international military intervention could resolve the conflict in Gaza or would it exacerbate the situation?
@9GG2H8K1yr1Y
If we were to integer it would do nothing as it would seem we are treating them even more, which could cause to a death a hostage.
