Hate speech is a form of weaponized language shared with the sole intent of ostracizing, othering, and ultimately harming specific groups of people based on nothing more than generalizations, which not only is entirely separate from criticisms of individuals due to their individual traits but is also a direct path to the evocation and justification of violence.
