Should foreigners be banned from buying homes in Canada for 2 years?

Yes, foreigners should only be allowed to buy a single residence and under the same requirements that regular citizens must provide (i.e. to prove income and no proceeds of crime are involved). Foreign students should never be allowed to purchase any real-estate.
