I don't feel I have the in-depth knowledge to answer this

I believe this is something that needs to be resolved between aboriginal leaders and the government. That being said, I feel horrified by our history of the treatment they suffered. I find myself wondering how much better our country could be if our ancestors had learned from them and developed a relationship beneficial to all. I don't believe it is too late to embrace this ideal as we move forward with a true reconciliation.
