Yes, so long as the offence was not a felony, violent, financial, or sexual

They must not of had any offences while holding ANY position of power (McDonald‘s supervisor counts). They must be clear and pardoned of all offences for a minimum of 2 years. They must not be under investigation for any crime against them or a company they have a stake in or have control in. If they are under investigation, they must step out of office. Any infraction of these would disallow them from any political position in their future.
