As someone who has spent my career as a manager in health care, the government needs to do a full and thorough review of health care spending. In my experience there was far too much waste and poor decision making where significant funds were being spent. Many managers in the health care system have little/no training on how to be fiscally responsible, and there is far too little integrity among health care management. Far too much freedom for managers to go out and spend money without education about procurement and far to much unnecessary spending at the end of the fiscal year.
