In Vancouver, children of international students between the ages of 5 and 18 are entitled to public education during all periods of their parents' studies in the country, as long as certain requirements are met: At least one parent needs to be enrolled in a Canadian public institution of higher education in full-time programs and guaranteeing at least a diploma. Certificate programs do not count; In the case of private institutions, the program must be full-time and a degree program (bachelor or master, for example); If the program is a certificate program, the other spouse must have a valid work permit and needs to be employed full-time.

Yes, so long as these international students will work and pay taxes in Canada for a minimum period.

Free education should be provided to anyone low income, not just international students.
@8Z5KNTP3yrs3Y
only if its for post secondary education. If they want to go to a public school, they don't really have to pay much so they don't need it to be free. But if its for a private school, they have to pay whatever needs paying, just like everyone else.

Not free, but subsidized, or interest free loan
It should be the same as everyone else

@8VHM4PKNew Democratic4yrs4Y
All people should get free education, but if the people who pay the taxes and keep our country going don't get free school, then no.
@8VHM3PKConservative4yrs4Y
If they come to Canada for a better life and they can't afford education, then yes there education should be payed for.
@8VHLCFZ4yrs4Y
for elementry secondary and highschool yes, but they should pay for secia; colleges and universities like the rest of the population.
@99B9Y7X2yrs2Y
yes if good reasons and grounds for it
@8XZNFFC3yrs3Y
Regardless, this matter should be left to the school in question.
@9ZK3JNS5mos5MO
No, we should not have international students in canada unless they can pay a premium, international students should be required to pay $10,000 to enter the country, a $5000 deposit that they lose if they commit a crime and a $100,000 per year tuition and its their full responsibility to find their own housing and they should be required to have housing to study in the country.
