This is not a clear black and white question. I think the severity of the crime may change this outcome. (Speeding vs sexual assault). I do think that certain crimes against others without rehabilitation may not be ready to be in a position of power.

Capital punishment or the death penalty is a legal process whereby a person is put to death as a punishment for a crime. Canada abolished capital punishment in 1976.

Should people under the age of 18 years old be able to receive gender-transition treatments?

Yes, but only for non-surgical treatments such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy
