Considering the fact that the current Canadian Prime Minister has evaded criminal investigation due to his position, connections and influence over Canada's judiciary, being convicted for a crime in Canada is no longer a trustworthy metric of whether a person is corrupt.

Yes, but only for non-surgical treatments such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy
