Some schools will only be able to hire trained professionals if the government provides proper funding

Teachers should have some sort or defense mechanism, but does it need to be a gun? Higher security would be more beneficial if teachers are uncomfortable and if the government is willing to fund it because some schools can't afford it. This issue should be less of a public issue and more discussed within the education community. A parent shouldn't make a teacher have a gun if they are uncomfortable with it.
