Should the government impose a 1% tax on real estate owned by non-residents?

If you are not a Canadian citizen you should not be able to buy residential real estate

And if you are you should be limited to one house/one apartment (say for work away from home) one vacation residence, after that heavily taxed. Home ownership should be a basic standard of living in Canada, including big cities, not rent/pay mortgage your entire life.

Yes, but only for non-surgical treatments such as puberty blockers and hormone therapy
