Why should someone be treated as though their life and health are less valuable because they earn less? Ridiculous. Just give everyone good benefits and call it a day. This included prescription eyeglasses, this includes acupuncture or chiropractic after an assessment by a GP to determine need, this includes prescription drugs after an assessment by a GP, this includes dental, mental health, and ambulance costs.
If people want to pay out of pocket to go to a fancier dentist - cool let them privatize. But please fund universal healthcare more.
Unhealthy people cant work, unhealthy people who cant work can't pay taxes to support the economy. It's worth it. Make Canada Well Again.
