We need a combination of a rebuilt police system (there’s too much violence and gender inequality) and community-based responders for non-violent calls. I don’t think the police should be armed with deadly force. I think there needs to be more consideration for mental health in non-violent crimes.

No, but leave the budget for the police intact and draw funding from different parts of the city's budget

We should train the police better, to maintain the peace, but increase the punishments for misconduct, or police brutality.
I think that more funding should go towards getting proper training for officers, especially psychological training because you never know when you will encounter someone in a crisis.

redirect some funding to social and community based programs, but do not take away all funds from the police.

Yes but find the police with money from public transportation
No, instead do what the U.K. does, and restrict firearm use to necessity born of emergency only.
The police system should be reformed and have less funding. The funding that was taken away from the police force should be directed at homeless shelters, foster homes and more.
No, but such funding needs to be provided in addition to better de-escalation training for law enforcement

Kind of, but not that much
only a little of the funding you dumbasses
