No, but they should train the police better and be strict on how the police react in the situation and not have any bias.

Yes replacing the police with unarmed citizens sounds like a good idea at first but against an armed criminal? I personally think police should not have guns but instead other methods like tazers/rubber bullets/ tear gas and be trained more mentally in quick time situations to disarming and catching the suspect alive

yes and no, 50% of spending should go to community based programs and the other 50% of spending should go to training for police departments in higher crime rate communities.

Funding for the police should go back to education and training. Teachers, doctors and other people we entrust our lives to have to go through years of training so why should it be different for cops. Make the 12 week program a bachelors degree, with psychology courses, sensitive training, race relations, and native history.

Funding should be increased for these programs and police should be trained more on de-escalation tactics and addressing problems specific to communities

More substantial background and mental stability checks to become a police officer.

I think that the funding should go to making police training stricter to make sure they are fair and want to actually help people.

should increase police funding in high crime are as well as community beneficial programs in distressed communities.

They should even it out. Keep the police, and add more mental health specialists.
