Redirect some police funding to other non-violent social service programs to help people instead of hurt them.

No, while increasing funding and training for police departments in higher crime rate communities, and lowering funding in communities with lower crime rates and give that funding to social and community based programmes.

I think we need to add more funding to retrain the police to have more equality but don't take away the funds from the police to the social events

 @8VQJD7KRhinocerosfrom British Columbia  answered…4yrs4Y

Not necessarily redirected from police departments, but more funding should be put into preventative social and community programs.

Yes, but not with the aim of abolishing police, but of reallocating resources, while also helping the police to do what they do well.

 @8QLP8DXRhinocerosfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

Not all money should be redirected but having seperate departments with better training to deal with issues would be a start.

 @8PKCQ27Rhinocerosfrom Ontario  answered…4yrs4Y

No, we should increase training in higher crime rate communities. Ones with lower rates should have a slight decrease

 @9CN6GGVfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

Increased, but money should also be used to redirected to social and community based programs

 @9C6LPSMfrom Ontario  answered…2yrs2Y

Both should have adaquate funding because the policing system needs updating and reform.

 @9C3MN5Gfrom Alberta  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but the larger portion of the funding to still go to the police department. Restructure how it’s divided.

Divert 10% of the Funding to help the Communities, and hire people from those Communities
