Increase funding for both police and alternative services, and direct these services where applicable to prevent unnecessary use of police forces.
@9W4LHPN6mos6MO
Find a moderate solution by increasing funding for police training in community based responders, and ensure that all police are trained for both sides of law enforcement. Split shifts for each officer so they MUST do both types of work during their career in law enforcement
@9TZNJBF7mos7MO
Put the fundings in training programs for police members to learn how to deal with different situations, avoiding gun use

depend on how safe you want to feel if they can't buy the right equipment
@96868R23yrs3Y
Depends how they'd spend it

I mean, we can still fund the police, but we really do need to work on the community and social based programs so that later on we will hopefully wont need to fund the police.
@8VVHJC74yrs4Y
Keep the police in place, but fund organizations that understand mental health and can train RCMP
@8VNRFJZ4yrs4Y
no, but more community services is always needed
@8VMKCZF4yrs4Y
more funding for mental health and rehab services is very important but police departments should still exist
I think that funding things like responders based for non-violent calls like a suicide call are very important. because all that a bunch of heavily armed individuals shouting is going to do is making an already scared person feel more scared and defensive. that's why having responders that aren't armed and have phycology training is important
@8VKXMTH4yrs4Y
take some of the money to social based programs
No, increase pay for police and go through extensive training for at least 2 years.
Funding should be allocated for social service programs to work alongside police.
@8TCTJ684yrs4Y
No, but a renewed training which includes acknowledging systemic biases and how to police our communities without social judgements
@8SXVMGM4yrs4Y
@8S6WXRZ4yrs4Y
No, but spend more profits on their training
No, increase funding to train police officers to specialize in social work or psychology
@9C6RDH82yrs2Y
Get rid of the RCMP and replace with municipal police
@8VPTHT94yrs4Y
redirect lot's of funding for mental health and rehab facilities but reform police departments
