No, however I believe that police should be trained better and have more non-lethal weapons at their disposal. For example in the UK every day police officers are not armed with guns and they have a special armed unit for rare cases.

If we took the mentally ill people off the streets, we would not have this problem, but we need to hold police to a higher standard, they need to concentrate more on crime not on drug addicts and the mentally ill which can be the same thing.
